POSITION OVERVIEW
The Festival Coordinator, Accounts Payable is charged with processing accounts payable for assigned programs, as well as providing administrative support to the Finance Department.
Working under the direction of the Senior Manager, Finance and in close collaboration with the Coordinator, Finance, this temporary position works full time from Monday, December 2, 2024 through Friday, March 28, 2025 and may be required to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet key deadlines. This includes daily availability during the Festival (Thursday, January 23, 2025 through Sunday, February 2, 2025). This position must be based within a commutable distance to our Park City, UT office in order to work on-site in a hybrid capacity throughout its employment.
Top priorities include but are not limited to…
Processing accounts payable, including entering invoices into the accounting system for payment.
Ensuring invoices are received and distributed for the review and approval process, new vendor records are entered into the financial system, and supplemental paperwork is received.
Providing timely communications with vendors and employees regarding invoicing or account issues as they arise.
Administering the Finance Department credit card, monitoring usage, and coding corporate Visa statement transactions monthly.
Tracking and disbursing petty cash as assigned.
Setting up, monitoring, and reconciling Festival charge accounts.
Coordinating bulk Festival payment runs with assigned departments including Volunteer Resources, Artist Relations, and Human Resources.
Supporting the Finance Department with various processes including calendar year end closing, research and analysis, Festival responsibilities, etc.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
2 years of accounting and/or banking experience, with experience in nonprofit accounting preferred.
Working knowledge of Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to audit work, avoid mistakes, and perform tasks accurately.
Strong customer support skills.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Working knowledge of Netsuite or other accounting software.
