POSITION SUMMARY??
We support our region’s equity-focused, cradle-to-career collective impact effort. The Partnership Director facilitates, engages, and supports teams of multi-sector partners including civic leaders, school representatives, community partners, community leaders, system leaders and subject matter experts and other key partners to improve educational outcomes.
PRIMARY TASK
Support activating partners who are focused on a common result to mobilize their resources to take action together.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project manage relevant projects, relationships, and partnerships
Support meeting design, facilitation and follow-up focused on clear results that move partners to action
Maintain relevant data systems to ensure information is captured and up-to-date
Collaborate with various organizations and institutions to conduct quick research, build strategies, and coordinate implementation
Build strong relationships with partners to align their contributions toward shared outcomes
Invite perspectives and participation of students, parents, teachers, and people who work in nonprofits, government, and business
Empower partnerships to facilitate local change
Seek opportunities to connect day-to-day efforts to support students and families to broader system levers that can impact many students and families at once
Help to conceptualize and implement initiatives that could be built around or benefit from corporate, foundation, government, or other partnerships
Create, track, and evaluate metrics of success and internal performance measures
Contribute to grant writing and reporting, donor cultivation, marketing efforts, advocacy efforts, presentations about our work
Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5+ years of applicable experience in social impact, facilitation, project management, or equivalent academic experience.???
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with partnership groups, community groups or schools.???
Proficiency with Microsoft suite, data visualization, and other project management software.???
An understanding of the culture and realities of historically marginalized communities in the Salt Lake region a plus
Speak and write fluently in a second language (especially Spanish or Arabic) is a plus.???
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The team member is regularly required to communicate clearly, in oral and written formats, with others in person, over the phone and via other devices. The team member must be able to transcribe, take in new information, prepare and analyze data and figures, constantly operate a computer and other standard office machinery. The team member is required to regularly travel to offsite locations to set-up presentations and displays in physical and electronic mediums. The team member must have the ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.
The employee is required to work primarily in-person, in our UP offices during core business hours Monday – Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Utah’s Promise is currently piloting a 36-hour work week with Friday afternoons off.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The position is a full-time, exempt position with full benefits. $60,000 – 72,790 . Salary commensurate with experience.?UWSL/UP provides a wide range of benefits, including:
