Primary Function of Position
As the Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for delivering lunch and dinner meals to resource centers. You will also manage and maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen warehouse, coolers, and freezer, ensuring an efficient and orderly storage system.
Major Position Responsibilities
- Meal Delivery: Deliver lunch and dinner meals to the resource centers.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the kitchen warehouse clean and organized.
- Communication: Communicate with the kitchen manager regarding any commodity exchange.
- Loading/Unloading Commodities: Load and unload donated/exchanged food commodities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of donated items from each trip.
- Mileage Records: Keep daily mileage records.
- Safety Checks: Perform daily safety checks on the truck(s) used each day.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklift when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
- Working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
- Caution is necessary when working near icy and slippery surfaces.
- The role may involve working in a kitchen environment, requiring caution near hot equipment and sharp objects.
- Local travel is required.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Personal protective equipment must be utilized while handling and operating equipment.
- Driving is required for this position.

Education, Training, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Background Screening Requirement
- Must pass a national BCI/FBI background check.
Licenses, certifications, and credentials
- Food Handler's permit.
- UDOT Medical Card
- Current Utah driver's license, proof of auto insurance with minimum policy liability limits of $50,000 per person and $100,000 per incident, 21 years of age or older, a clean driving record, and ability to meet CCS vehicle safety requirements.
- Forklift certification preferred.
Position status and expected schedule
- This position is scheduled to work Friday through Tuesday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
