DESCRIPTION:The Utah Women of Color Council (UWOCC) is pleased to invite you to our first annual scholarship awards ceremony\, fundraising kick-off\, and silent auction. We will be honoring ten individuals for the 2018-19 academic year who have demonstrated academic excellence\, leadership\, and their commitment in promoting social justice in the community.\n\nUWOCC has partnered with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Educational Service Centers (LNESC) to assist youth from underserved communities attain the dream of college enrollment. Every dollar raised by LULAC councils is matched by corporate partners secured by LNESC at 60%\, thus increasing the amounts given in both the council and corporate names.
