Moderated by Nchopia Nkowoma\, Founder of Eurekability and  President of the Young Professionals SLC (YPSLC).\n\n\n\nProducer Sidra Smith is a force to be reckoned with. With more than 20 years of international and domestic experience in various aspects of film\, documentary\, television\, stage\, corporate events and advertising\, she has become the go-to person for those companies and organizations in search of efficient and creative production services.\n\nMost recently\, Sidra received the NAACP Image Award for producing the documentary "Free Angela & All Political Prisoners\," an examination of the life and times of civil rights activist Angela Davis (Executive Produced by Will Smith\, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Jay-Z). "Free Angela" debuted at the Toronto Film Festival to critical-acclaim and had a successful theatrical release through Lionsgate and AMC Theaters. She is currently producing Lionsgate's dramatic Angela Davis biopic\, titled\, Angela\, to be directed by Julie Dash\, to be released in 2020.\n\nSidra also produced a digital series called A Luv Tale: The series\, that examines the lives of four women of color living in Harlem\, based on her award-winning film A Luv Tale. A Luv Tale: The Series will launch online this year.
